Temple Style makes greater use of the forearms. Forearms, footsteps, and body weight move together, creating sustained pathways that travel between areas like an extended current of water.
It is not an upgrade from Heartworks. Both share a foundation in Aloha, mana, breath, presence, and a whole-person approach.
For a first visit
New-client bookings are considered individually. Heartworks is usually recommended first, but this is not an absolute rule. Tell Kai about your experience and what draws you to the broader forearm flow.
Process, draping, and choice
Temple Style follows the Lomi preparation and flow: conversation, oil-table bodywork, quiet rest, cleaning up or showering afterward if needed, and optional feedback. No shower is needed before the session.
Within Hawaiian Lomi, the chest and abdomen lie close to the heart center and the body’s core. They are regarded as an important place where physical and inner experience, and the body’s overall energy, gather and integrate.
Salon cloth keeps intimate areas covered. Kai asks again before the chest and abdominal portion, and you may decline, adjust, skip, or stop at any time.
