THE WHOLE PERSON

The body is not a list of problems to be fixed

Everyone arrives with a different life, body history, and state on that particular day. What matters is not only which technique is used, but how Kai meets the person in front of him—with respect, attention, and honesty.

01

Understand first

A brief conversation before the session makes room for your condition and needs.

02

Keep your choices

Pressure, pace, and areas of touch can be adjusted or skipped.

03

Change your mind

An earlier answer never prevents you from pausing or choosing differently later.

MANA · HANDS · CONNECTION

Touch means hands. It also means connection.

In Hawaiian language and culture, mana points to a sacred and powerful presence. To Kai, it feels like warm sunlight: a life energy that can be sensed and shared. In the Lomi lineage he has studied, bodywork is more than a sequence of movements. Through breath, hands, and presence, mana becomes part of a meeting between body and heart.

A dedicated Lomi studio in Taiwan, based in Nangang, Taipei, offering a complete Hawaiian Lomi Lomi experience shaped by breath, presence, flowing touch, and attentive care.

LOMI IN MOTION

Let the real rhythm show how touch takes place

You do not need to imagine every detail from words alone. Kai’s breath, hands, and draping show how Lomi unfolds through a steady and attentive rhythm.

SERVICES

Meet each service through its own language of touch

Each form of bodywork carries its own cultural background, language of touch, and rhythm. Begin by understanding how each one unfolds and what gives it its particular quality, then follow what genuinely interests you.

01

Hawaiian Lomi Lomi

Lomi comes from Hawaiʻi. More than massage technique, it carries a way of meeting the body through aloha, breath, flow, and relationship. One of its defining qualities is wave-like movement that travels along long, unbroken pathways across joints, the upper and lower body, and different regions. Rather than dividing the body into separate areas, the continuous flow invites body and inner experience to be felt again as one whole. At ManaTouch, this Hawaiian practice meets the person—not one isolated area—through hands and presence.

Kai studied directly with respected Hawaiian Lomi teacher Wayne Kealohi Powell and completed his training and certification.

02

Thai Bodywork

Unlike the painful, forceful stretching many people associate with Thai massage, ManaTouch does not treat reaching a maximum range as depth. Breath, tension, and the body’s response guide gentle yet substantial stretching, guided positioning, and the wrapping, traction, and support of Pha Khao Ma. Cloth, rhythm, touch, and movement come together as a rich sensory language within Thai bodywork.

Kai studied advanced mat stretching, high-table stretching, and elbow-and-knee Thai massage directly with Thai master instructor Dew.

03

Custom Acupressure & Oil Massage

As Kai becomes familiar with a person’s body and preferences around touch, the session no longer needs to follow a fixed sequence. Conversation and the state of the day guide clear, restrained choices among acupressure, oil massage, and other studied approaches.

Each session grows from familiarity, conversation, and the body’s response that day.

CLIENT REFLECTIONS

What stays with people is more than technique

These reflections come from experiences clients previously chose to share publicly. Every person’s experience is different; these words are not promises of an outcome, but a way to sense the quality a session may hold.

It felt as though two people were dancing.

Public client reflection · Lomi

The touch was gentle, yet it carried strength. It completely changed what I thought massage could feel like.

Public client reflection · Lomi

When it ended, I had one clear feeling: my body was beautiful. It had been a long time since I had felt that way about my body.

Public client reflection · Lomi

The work felt very fluid, following the body’s own pathways. Along the way, I could let go of thinking and bring my attention back to myself.

Public client reflection · Lomi

Compared with hands-on stretching, the cloth felt gentler. My body felt more able to let go, and I could sense where things felt less coordinated.

Public client reflection · Thai Cloth

It felt as though my whole body shifted from tension into release—almost like restarting.
